About me
As an MFTC in Colorado Springs, I provide counseling services for individuals, couples, and families using a relational, systems-based approach. This perspective recognizes that emotional health is shaped by our relationships, life experiences, and patterns of interaction. A deeply empathetic listener, I hold a profound
respect for my clients and trust that they are the experts on their own lives. Whether you are seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, life transitions, marital conflict, parenting challenges, or family relationship concerns, my goal is to help you create meaningful and sustainable change.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps couples and families build secure, lasting bonds. Through this process, clients learn to identify negative patterns, express their needs with confidence, and build deeper emotional intimacy.
Married for 25 years with two adult children, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they move from conflict and disconnection toward relationships that feel safe, strong, and deeply fulfilling.
I also have a special interest in working with intercultural couples and immigrant families as they navigate differing cultural values, communication styles, and identities. With extensive cross-cultural experience, I strive to honor each person’s story while helping families strengthen understanding and connection across differences.
